The large pieces are for the center.  There is two different size half pieces the larger of the two is for the upper row and the smaller is for the bottom row.  Make sure you use the correct ones for the top and bottom.  Lift a piece from the paper with the exact-o knife.  Grasp it between your thumb and finger and place it in a corresponding indentation on the moulding.  I like to drag it from left to right, keeping it straight as I go, when it reaches the end I peg it down with my free hand leaving the opposite edge loose in case it is not straight so I can pick up and realign it.  The adhesive is very forgiving; you can remove it several times to get it straight.  When correctly in place firmly rub it to seat it.  If you have placed it down and it is not in place correctly you can carefully slide the exact-o knife under an edge to lift it being careful not to damage the decal.  Some people use both hands to place the decal while others place it on the exact-o knife to put it in place.  Use whichever method that works best for you.  There are a couple of pieces at the edges that need to be cut to fit.  Just place a larger decal in the space and cut with the exact-o knife, remove the extra.  See Figures 1 – 3 below.
