1963 Rear Finish Panel
There are # rows that correspond with the # rows
on the finish panels. Always start with the largest squares.
When you have finished that row move to the next row on the tape
when you finish that row you will have a few pieces left. DO
NOT put these pieces on your next row on the panel. Move to the
next corresponding row on the tape as each row is a little
different in size.
To apply the tape I like to grasp the right edge
between my thumb and index finger and drag it from left to right
until the trailing edge sits flush in the square keeping it
straight also. I then peg it down with my free index finger.
DO NOT press the whole square down (leave an edge loose) until
you are sure it is setting squarely in the indentation. If it
is not the tape is very forgiving. You can then pick up the
loose end and reposition the tape up to 3 to 4 times without
harming the adhesive. Should you have the tape down on all
edges and are not happy with the position simply slide the point
of your exact-o knife under the corner and lift being careful
not to damage tape with point. Some people place the tape on
the exact-o knife and use the knife to position the tape, while
others hold the tape in both hands and place it from directly
over the indentation. Use whatever method that works best for
you.
After the piece is in position gently rub it to
make it stick.
On the taillight edge there are a few
indentations that are partials. Just place tape in the
indentation and mark with thumbnail along edge then cut with
exact-o knife and remove excess. See figures 1, 2, and 3.
On the top row of gas door and gas door edge of
panel you’ll need to trim excess and roll over. Always apply a
small spot of give on the back side of any roll overs. Again if
you have any questions or problems call us at (419) 843-5420.

1963 C-piece Applications
If you DO NOT understand these instructions
please call us at (419) 843-5420 before starting.
To apply the C-piece tape first take scissors and
cut out each decal leaving a little whit paper on each side. To
determine the correct decal for the corresponding C-piece, hold
the C-piece to corner of the decal and compare the radius in the
bend. There are two bends in the C-piece one radius is tighter
than the other. You need to match up the radius. To start the
tape peel back the paper on one of the curves about 1 ½” on each
side and cut the paper away. Place the tape in curve and work
to both ends as you peel the paper. See figures 1 – 6 below.

Important: You must start at the curves NOT
on the ends. See figure 6. If you should discover you have
chosen the wrong decal for the C-piece gently lift it off and
apply it to the correct one. If you have a problem or do not
understand the instructions please call us at before applying
decal.
1963 Hash Marks
If you do not understand these instructions
before you start, call us at (419) 843-5420.
Lift a stripe off the white paper with the
exact-o knife. Grasp it with your fingers and place one end on
the moulding press firmly as you go up the indentation as you
come to the center there is a rise gently go up and over
pressing as you go. Do not pull and stretch the decal, lay it
gently in place, continue up to the und of the indentation.
After the decal is in place rub firmly.
If you do not understand the instructions please
call us at (419) 843-5420 before applying decal.
1963 Headlight Applications
There is a left and right side on the white
paper. To determine the corresponding decal for the headlight
bezel you are working on, look on the corner of the paper and
locate a brow shaped decal about 1 ½ long, check to make sure it
will fit the brow on the headlight bezel. See figure below.
This set is fairly easy the larger pieces are easiest applied by
using your finger. The smaller pieces are best applied by
lifting them from the paper with the exact-o knife.

1963 Side Stripes
If you do not understand these instructions
before starting please call us at (419) 843-5420.
To apply side decals you must cut and separate
each stripe with a scissors leaving a little white paper on each
side, being careful not to cut tape.
The front fender moulding is longer than the
lower door moulding, be sure to use the correct decal for the
correct piece. The other five ling stripes are for the ¼
moulding, upper door moulding, and handle extensions. When
doing the front fender and lower door moulding always start at
the front point, not the back. The easiest way is to lift the
point off the paper with the exact-o knife and peel back a
couple of inches of paper and fold it under, then place the
decal on the moulding and press firmly, continue pulling and
peeling the paper off as you work your way down the moulding in
about 1 foot increments being careful to keep the decal
straight. See figures 1 – 3. DO NOT pull so hard as to stretch
the decal. You may have to lift and realign the decal as you
go. When you reach the end fold the decal under. Do the ¼
mouldings and door mouldings the same way. The door mouldings
and handle extensions need to be cut to size from one long
piece. The other four long pieces are for the ¼ moulding. If
you do not understand these instructions please call us at (419)
843-5420 before you begin.
