Applying trim decal tape

Applies to all year cars

Clean all parts with acetone or alcohol. 

Make sure hands are clean. 

Lay white paper with tape attached flat on table. 

Using an exact-o knife slide blade between tape and paper, keep the point slightly downward so as not to damage tape.  As shown in Figure 1.

Lift the edge of tape, and with your free hand gently pull tape free from paper as shown in Figure 2. 

Important:       DO NOT Bend paper and try to flick or peek tape with finger as this will sometimes result in layers of paper coming off with tape which will damage tape.  Always use exact-o knife to lift edge first before grasping and pulling tape with fingers.
